Our contract with the VA requires all VES optometrists and ophthalmologists to perform Visual Field Tests with either a Humphrey 750i, Goldman Bowl, or an Octopus 900. All eye healthcare providers must turn in a 16 point Kinetic VFT from one of these machines to be able to perform eye exams for veterans.

DMA Training Required:
DMA training is required for all doctors who perform Compensation and Pension exams for veterans. This training informs doctors how to conduct exams, the language needed in DBQs, and the VA’s requirements. Doctors who work with VES must complete all DMAs and turn in the DMA/HIPAA page in their credentialing packet before they are able to perform C&P exams.
