Psychologist/ Neuropsychologist Credential Requirements:
PSYD or PHD
Graduated from an APA accredited graduate psychology program (Please note that retroactive APA accreditation does not apply)
Active license in your state

Psychiatrist Credential Requirements:
MD
Active license in your state
Completed Psychiatric Residency



DMA Training Required:

DMA training is required for all providers who perform Compensation and Pension exams for veterans. This training informs providers how to conduct exams, the language needed in DBQs, and the VA’s requirements. Providers who work with VES must complete all DMAs and turn in the DMA/HIPAA page in their credentialing packet before they are able to perform C&P exams.
