UFC Fight for the Troops – Intrepid Fallen Hero’s Fund

Hero Helping Heroes

Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) assists the Department of Veteran Affairs by quickly processing quality Compensation & Pension evaluations for our Veterans. We believe it is our duty as Americans to ensure that Veterans and their families receive all the benefits they deserve for their service to our country. This core belief extends beyond our company policies and lives within the hearts and souls of our team. This is particularly true for one special individual.

Joshua Yelley, a member of our VES Physician Recruitment and Training team, approached VES management about his idea to raise money for the Intrepid Fallen Hero’s Fund. Mr. Yelley is an Air Force Veteran himself and a credit to the Armed Services. True to his humble nature, he did not wish to receive any credit. But to downplay Mr. Yelley’s role in this event would contradict our very edict of honoring Veterans. Though many years past his honorable discharge, Mr. Yelley continues to serve his country honorably and with great humility.

A viewing party of the UFC Fight for the Troops was organized by Mr. Yelley and donations were collected on behalf of the Intrepid Fallen Hero’s Fund for Veterans. A great number of VES and non-VES friends and family came out to support the cause. Many local eateries donated food for the party and we also received great literature and beautiful military coins from IFHF. Mr. Yelley donated t-shirts of his own design and other merchandise for a silent auction with all proceeds going towards the donation. Finally, all donations were matched dollar for dollar by our generous founders, George & Linda Turek. Mr. Turek is a Navy Veteran and considers the VES his pride and joy and the Intrepid Fallen Hero’s Fund a worthy cause indeed.

Thanks to the efforts of Mr. Yelley, VES raised $1271.50 for the Intrepid Fallen Hero’s Fund.
Joshua Yelley is a true patriot and we are proud to have him on the VES team.
